My name is MT Kosobucki, and I am a documentary minded, American photographer and photojournalist working primarily in the realms of sport and music while also pursuing both short & long term projects with inspirations ranging from personal experiences to cultural and environmental themes.
My photographic journey started through a fostered connection with Antonio Pérez while taking a one-off course during a semester abroad. After a couple of years of self guided exploration & experimentation I underwent the Photojournalism & Creative Documentary program at Spéos Institute of Photography & Video in tandem with Magnum Photos during the 2021/22 calendar year.
With the experience of learning from and interacting with some of the most talented photographers, creative directors and curators, I returned to Wisconsin, USA, where I am currently focusing my work.
Born and raised in the frill-less, rural midwest, I have an affinity for the simple and intimate.
